Are These Celebrities Willing to Go Into Debt To Give Their Kids Everything?

While it’s not uncommon for parents to spoil their kids, celebrities, more often than not, take it to a whole new level. Here are a five celebrity couples that just might end up in debt if they don’t watch out.

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes

While the famous celebrity couple has since separated, that hasn’t stopped them from providing their daughter Suri, now age 11, with a few creature comforts. Cruise himself likes to sneak her out of school for a few days at a time, flying her to his filming locations around the world in his private jet. Suri also reportedly has a wardrobe and shoe collection valued at over $2 million. However, her mother, Katie says she makes sure that Suri doesn’t grow up to become another spoiled Hollywood brat, seeing that she always keeps up with her chores, homework, and other responsibilities.

David & Victoria Beckham

The four Beckham children (Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper) are no strangers to their parents’ coddling. In fact, the celebrity couple reportedly had a $50,000 custom treehouse built sometime during their sons’ early years. On Brooklyn’s 6th birthday, they had a $187,000 castle playhouse built on their property. A few years later, the Beckham’s hired the pop group, The Wanted to perform at Romeo’s 10th birthday party, costing them $125,000. A cool $100,000 was spent on Harper’s first, princess-themed birthday in 2012. One can only imagine what they spent on Cruz’s 13th birthday this year, a Great Gatsby-themed bash that was attended by plenty of stars, such as revered celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay and his two daughters, Holly and Tilly.

Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony

Max and Emme, the twin son and daughter of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, have quickly become familiar with their parents’ lavish lifestyle. When the two were born, their loving parents dedicated an entire wing of their mansion as the twins’ living space. They also gifted them with two diamond-encrusted rattles, 600-thread-count Egyptian cotton crib linens, and a Shetland pony… each.

Sean Combs & Misa Hylton-Brim

Justin Dior Combs, the first son of record producer Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and Misa Hylton-Brim, received a fabulous 16th birthday gift. Back in 2011, Combs bought his cherished son a brand new, $390,000 Mercedes Maybach Limousine, as a reward for becoming an honors student at high school. If all parents promised their kids a car that cost as much as most houses these days, there might be a lot more honors students in the world.

Elton John & David Furnish

Ensuring that their child will never need to leave the nest, rock icon Elton John and his filmmaker husband, David Furnish, spoiled their newborn son, Zachary just a little bit. Actually, they bought him a whole apartment in Los Angeles, right next door to theirs, valued at $1.3 million. The luxury pad comes complete with round-the-clock nanny service. Hey, if you have the money, why not spend it on your loved ones?
